A huge thank you to all the Parents & Teachers for organising the Summer Fair and for all those who came along to support our annual event. Without all your help and generosity it would not be possible to go ahead with his event. We raised £1432. !! Friends of Cherry Lane would like to thank everyone that helped with the cake sale. The total raised was £447.54.
The Friends of Cherry Lane is an organisation of parents and staff.
All parents and guardians of children at Cherry Lane Primary School, as well as members of staff and governors, automatically become members of the Parent, Teacher and Friends Association (PTFA).
We want to meet and always welcome new members and new ideas.
The role of the Friends is to encourage closer links between home and school. In particular, to work hard to organise fundraising events such as Summer and Christmas fetes and musical festivals, which offer children from the local schools and area the opportunity to show off their talents.
We have also planned Children’s Disco’s, Cake Sales and Firework Displays.
Money raised goes towards paying for new and exciting equipment around the school.
Being a part of the Friends of Cherry Lane provides an opportunity for parents and staff to get together and combine ideas to create fun activities for our children and families.
